First, we explore the issues to realize. For this reason, we will research the historical records in this Utsunomiya area, and walk around this town, so, want to grasp the contents.On the other hand, we focused on the most important point in urban development, namely, on exploring and implementing groundbreaking methods of regional revitalization using public facilities and public spaces managed by national and local governments. This time, we used the Tagawa River,which flows through the westexit of JR station in Utsunomiya city,Tochigi prefecture, and its surroundings as an example, besides, clarified the problems in the area by interviewing past literature and research.
